Leeds Equity Partners had a busy – and productive – 2024. We made a number of new investments and had great growth within the existing portfolio. We are pleased to also report further additions to our investment team.
The Firm completed 5 platform acquisitions. We attribute this productivity to our 30+ years of focus and immersion within the Knowledge Industries (Education, Training, and Information Services) as well as terrific work by our team.
We committed over $1 billion of capital to these new investments and to the 11 add-on acquisitions that we made for 6 platform companies.
We were able to offer more than $350 million in co-investment opportunities to our limited partners over the last twelve months.
The Firm also continued to invest in people. In close partnership with our portfolio company leadership teams, we hired 20 new senior executives for portfolio companies in 2024.
We also made great additions to our investment team at Leeds Equity. Emily Bernstein joined us from The Carlyle Group early in the year and we were pleased to promote her to Principal at year-end. Tim Dye, Nathan Washington, and David Xian all joined as Associates in 2024.
