Leeds Equity Announces Promotions
New York, New York – January 15, 2015 - Leeds Equity Partners, LLC, the New York-based private equity firm focused on the Knowledge Industries, announced today the promotions of Scott VanHoy to Managing Director, Eric Geveda and Christopher Mairs to Principal, Kevin Malone to Vice President and Doug Saidenberg to Associate.

Scott VanHoy has been involved with Leeds Equity’s investments in Covenant Review, EduK Group, Evanta Ventures and Nobel Learning Communities since joining the firm in 2010. Prior to Leeds Equity, Mr. VanHoy worked at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, Quad-C Management and Banc of America Securities. Mr. VanHoy graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina with a B.A in Economics and graduated with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with an M.B.A in Entrepreneurship and Finance.
Eric Geveda has been involved with Leeds Equity’s investments in BARBRI, iModules and Knowledge Factor since joining the firm in 2011. Prior to Leeds Equity, Mr. Geveda worked at Arsenal Capital Partners, Lightyear Capital and Credit Suisse. Mr. Geveda graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A in Finance and Economics and earned an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Christopher Mairs is involved with Leeds Equity’s investments in INTO University Partnerships and Nobel Learning Communities and was previously actively involved with Sagus International and SeatonCorp. Mr. Mairs joined the firm in 2008 from Greenhill & Co. Mr. Mairs graduated with first class honors from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland with a BSc in Mathematics.
Kevin Malone has been involved with Leeds Equity’s investments in BARBRI, EduK Group, iModules, INTO University Partnerships and Knowledge Factor since joining the firm in 2010. Prior to joining Leeds Equity, Mr. Malone worked at Harris Williams & Co. Mr. Malone graduated from the Olin Business School at Washington University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Doug Saidenberg has been actively involved with Leeds Equity’s investment in INTO University Partnerships and the firm’s EdCert and Leeds Novamark initiatives since joining Leeds in 2011. Mr. Saidenberg graduated from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University with a B.S. in Management and an M.S. in Finance.
