Genius SIS Expands its Software Offerings in Adult Education and Workforce Development with its Strategic Acquisition of LiteracyPro Systems
New York, USA — September 12, 2023. Genius SIS, LLC (“Genius”), a Leeds Equity Partners portfolio company, today announced the acquisition of LiteracyPro Systems, Inc. (“LiteracyPro” or the “Company”), a leading student information system (SIS) software provider to operators of adult basic education, correctional education and community literacy programs. Founded in 1996, LiteracyPro’s mission is to help state and local government agencies and learning organizations optimize and administer their literacy and adult education programs to drive better student outcomes. The Company’s software enables organizations to manage critical aspects of literacy and workforce development program administration, including reporting and compliance requirements, and produce data driven insights to improve learner experience. LiteracyPro represents the second acquisition for Genius. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
